The wet weather will continue across southern and eastern Colorado through the week. Numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected over the high country...the San Luis Valley and along the I-25 corridor...with scattered showers and thunderstorms over the eastern plains. Locally heavy rain could develop again...possibly threatening the burn scars across the region. Some early season snow could fall above the 11 thousand foot elevation. Along with the period of rainy weather...temperatures are also going to stay noticeably cooler over the next couple of days...as highs reach the 60s and 70s over most mountain spots...the San Luis Valley and El Paso county...with 70s to lower 80s over the eastern plains.
