Very warm late summer temperatures will continue through Sunday, with temperatures approaching the century mark once again this afternoon across the lower Arkansas river valley. Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible across the mountains each day possibly spreading across the Palmer Divide and the southern I-25 corridor. On Monday, our a cold front will push through eastern Colorado, with monsoon moisture increasing across the state in its wake. This will bring a significant change in the weather pattern across the region through mid week, with considerably cooler weather and a chance for precipitation developing over much of eastern Colorado through the period.
