Well above average temperatures will continue through Sunday/Monday across Colorado before dropping significantly on Tuesday. Isolated showers and thunderstorms will be possible across the mountains each day possibly reaching the I-25 corridor by the middle of the weekend. Forecast models continue to indicate cold frontal passages on Monday and late Tuesday. These will bring cooler air to the region. High temperatures will be below average Tuesday and Wednesday. The cool down will be relatively brief however, as high pressure begins to build back across the area late next week. (Please visit http://weather.gov/pub for more information.)
