High pressure will remain over Colorado over the next few days bringing isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms to the mountains during the afternoon through late evening hours. Due to the slow movement expected with any storms that develop, locally heavy rain and the potential for flash flooding will continue over area burn scars. Temperatures will be above normal over most locations through the week with highs reaching the mid to high 90s across much of the southeast plains, with 70s and 80s continuing over the high country.
