High pressure aloft and at the surface will remain over Colorado over the next few days. Limited moisture trapped under this high will bring isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms to the mountains during this time. Due to the slow movement expected with any storms that develop, locally heavy rain and the potential for flash flooding will continue over recent burn scars. Area temperatures will be above normal over most locations Today with highs reaching the 90s across much of the southeast plains, with 70s and 80s continuing over the high country.
