Scattered afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms will occur once again in the mountains. Isolated thunderstorms are expected elsewhere. Any thunderstorm has the potential for brief heavy rain showers, but northeast Utah and the San Juan mountains stand the best chance for heavy rain showers. The current weather pattern with daily showers and thunderstorms in the mountains and above normal temperatures will continue for the remainder of the week.
