Scattered mountain showers and thunderstorms are expected the next several afternoons and evenings. Some of this activity will form/drift into the lower valleys but generally remain isolated in coverage at the lower elevations. Locally heavy rainfall is a possibility with a few of the stronger storms. A few showers may also continue into the early morning hours on Labor Day.
