Plenty of moisture exists to fuel afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms for the next few days. The best chance for storms will occur between 2 PM and 10 PM, with storms weakening after 10 PM. Isolated storms may linger through the night. Locally heavy rain and gusty winds is possible with passing storms. Debris mud flows may occur, especially in the San Juan mountains. This pattern repeats itself for the next few days, although drier air may lower the threat of thunderstorms late this weekend. (Please visit http://weather.gov/gjt for more information.)
