Moist and unstable conditions exist today and another round of showers and thunderstorms will occur. The high country of western Colorado stand the best chance for rainfall. The chance of rain decreases for the lower elevations with isolated storms expected for the desert valleys of eastern Utah. On Monday over the San Juan mountains and south facing foothills, thunderstorms may produce widespread significant rains with amounts exceeding 1.00 inch.
