The strong ridge of high pressure located over the Great Basin will be breaking down by this weekend. This will allow moisture to work back into the area over the next few days...bringing isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms each day. The best chance for rain will arrive late Friday and will continue through Sunday evening. Drier air will then sweep back into the region by early next week. Little change in temperatures will occur. (Please visit http://weather.gov/gjt for more information.)
