Hot and dry conditions will continue to persist across southeast Colorado through Wednesday. Smoke from the area fires may be prevalent across most the eastern areas. Area temperatures will remain well above average, with near record highs likely again through the far eastern plains. Highs will warm into the mid to high 90's for most the region and to near 100F across the far eastern plains,. Temperatures in the 80s and 90s are expected over the high country.
