Thank you to everyone in our armed forces, past and present, including my great uncle Francis Masce. I never knew him as he died in WWII. I believe there were also two other brothers in the family who died in the war but I haven't been able to track down info on them. Their parents immigrated to the US from Italy (family name: Massino) and my maternal grandmother was Francis' younger sister.
