A moist air boundary will develop over extreme eastern Colorado Friday afternoon and evening...possibly helping produce strong to severe thunderstorms along the Colorado...Kansas border late in the day. Isolated afternoon storms will also be possible over parts of the eastern plains...while mostly sunny skies are expected across the rest of the region. Dry conditions and gusty afternoon winds are expected to increase the fire danger over the eastern mountains and through-out El Paso county. Temperatures should still reach the 60s in the high country and the 70s over the southern valleys...with considerably warmer readings over eastern Colorado as highs climb to the 80s to around 90 degrees.
