Inspired by the surrounding downtown Arts District, the new sustainable Living Wall at The Fairmont Dallas is comprised of plants that convert vehicle carbon dioxide emissions into clean oxygen, helping to significantly reduce the hotel’s carbon footprint. Evolving constantly as new plants are added and cultivated, the Living Wall features an array of plants that are native to the Texas region, including Dark Lariope, Lemon Mondo grass, Berry Bush and Bromeliad. Fun Fact: Approximately 36,000 vehicles pass through the front drive of the hotel each year.
