Daytime heating and weak disturbances in northerly flow will act on remnant moisture to produce scattered afternoon showers/thunderstorms across the higher terrain, today and Saturday. Isolated showers/thunderstorms are expected in the valleys, with gusty outflow winds possible. Ridging builds in Sunday through the middle of next week bringing a warming trend and generally dry conditions, although a few mountain showers/thunderstorms are still anticipated.
