A moist and unstable low pressure system will continue to bring showers with occasional thunderstorms today. Snow is expected to accumulate above 9000 feet with additional accumulations of 2-4 inches over the mountains passes resulting in slushy to icy conditions. A slow drying and warming trend begins on Friday, although afternoon showers and thunderstorms will form over the western slope mountains each afternoon and evening.
