A moist and unstable low pressure system will bring numerous showers with occasional thunderstorms today and tonight. Snow is expected above 9000 feet with accumulations of 3-6 inches over the mountains passes, slushy to icy conditions may occur. Unsettled conditions will continue on Thursday. But a slow drying and warming trend begins on Friday, although afternoon showers and thunderstorms will form over the western slope mountains.
