An upper level storm system will slowly move across California today...with the next in a series of weak disturbances will pushing across Colorado. This will bring increasing clouds to the state...along with areas of showers and a few thunderstorms in the afternoon. High temperatures today will likely be the warmest of the week...with the mercury climbing to the upper 40s and 50s in the mountains...the 60s over the high valleys...and to the upper 60s and 70s across the eastern plains.
