The weather will become more active across Colorado early next week. A strong area of low pressure will move across the southern half of the state Monday and Tuesday. Heavy mountain snows and strong to severe thunderstorms across the eastern plains are possible Monday afternoon and evening. After a strong cold frontal passage on Tuesday, snow may be possible across the San Luis Valley, I-25 corridor, and the eastern plains. Some forecast uncertainty exists in the track of the low pressure center. Please continue to monitor http://www.weather.gov/pub for the latest.
