The weather will stay dry across most of the area into the weekend. A large surface high pressure system will move to the Ohio Valley while and upper level low will move southeast across Arkansas. Some showers may move into extreme southern and southeast Missouri Thursday. Otherwise the area will see the slow warming trend continue with high temperatures reaching the middle 60s on Friday.
