Unsettled weather will continue across the state on Sunday, with isolated thunderstorms possible over the eastern plains, and scattered to numerous rain and snow showers possible over the high country. The best chances for precipitation will be over the mountains along and west of the Continental Divide, where some light snow accumulations will be possible, mainly over the higher elevations. With dry and windy conditions expected across the region on Sunday, an elevated threat for fire growth will exist in areas that continue to have dry fuels, with a red flag warning going into effect from 11 am until 8 pm for Pueblo, Otero, Crowley, southern El Paso and eastern Las Animas counties. Area temperatures will briefly return to above normal over most locations on Sunday, with temperatures generally in the 60s over the eastern plains and 40s and 50s across the high country.
