After a long period of below normal temperatures, southerly winds are expected to usher in warmer air into the area. Temperatures are expected to climb into the 50's or lower 60's on Saturday and Sunday. Rain will move into the region on Saturday night and continue through Sunday as a strong storm system moves northeast across Missouri and Illinois.
