Rain will develop across the area this evening before changing over to snow late tonight or early Tuesday. The snow will move out of the area on Tuesday night. Snowfall accumulations from this storm will be in the 1-3 inch range over northeast Missouri as well as west central and south central Illinois. Heavier snow is expected across Iowa and northern Illinois. Temperatures are expected to stay unseasonably cool through Wednesday before climbing above normal for the upcoming weekend.
