A ridge of high pressure will build in over the weekend...though clouds will be slow to clear out today. Otherwise, temperatures will remain below normal. Highs will only be in the low to mid 30s today, warming up a bit on Sunday into the mid 30s to mid 40s. The next weather system will approach the area on Monday. However, timing and placement of the system is still hard to pin down at this time. For now will see a mix of precipitation beginning Monday and persist through Tuesday before coming to an end. Highs on Monday will range from the upper 30s in northeast Missouri to the low 50s in southeast Missouri. (Please visit http://weather.gov/lsx for more information.)
