Drizzle and freezing drizzle can be expected this evening, then an upper level disturbance will bring light snow to the area late tonight and Wednesday. Two to three inches of snow is expected across northern into central Missouri and west central Illinois. Lesser snowfall amounts of one to two inches can be expected further south into the St Louis metro area. A winter weather advisory is in effect tonight and Wednesday across northeast and central Missouri as well as west central Illinois, north and west of St Louis, where hazardous travel conditions are expected.
