Another strong winter storm is taking aim on Missouri and Illinois. The storm will intensify and move northeastward through southeast Missouri and southern Illinois. North and west of the track of the low heavy snow is expected tonight and Tuesday. The heaviest snow for our forecast area is expected across central and northeast Missouri as well as west central Illinois, including Columbia and Quincy. Winter Storm Warnings and Winter Weather Advisories are in effect for areas north and west of the St Louis metro area where hazardous travel conditions are expected.
