A potent winter storm will move through the region today into Monday. Blizzard warnings have been issued for Northern El Paso County, Huerfano County and Las Animas County beginning at 11am Today. Blizzard Warnings are also in effect for Bacca and Prowers counties beginning at 5PM today. Blowing snow and reduced visibilities are likely in these areas. Winter Storm Warnings are in effect for the Wet Mountains, Teller County, Pikes Peak and the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Total snow amounts could reach 10 to 14 inches with locally higher amounts. A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for the Eastern San Juan and La Garita Mountains through late Sunday, as well as the Western Mosquito Range and Eastern Sawatch Mountains. Total snow accumulations will be 6 to 12 inches. In addition, a Winter Weather Advisory had been issued for Southern El Paso County, Pueblo, Crowley and Otero Counties from this morning into this evening.
