#kswx...A strong winter storm will move east out of the southern Rockies into the Texas panhandle Sunday night bringing widespread snow once again to southwest and central Kansas. Lighter snow amounts are expected across west central Kansas with the highest amounts across south central Kansas. Additionally, stronger winds are likely with this system as a strong surface low moves across the Texas panhandle into western Oklahoma late Sunday night into Monday afternoon. Northerly winds of 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 55 mph are likely with this storm resulting in very poor visibilities from blowing and drifting snow. Travel could be highly affected as well into Monday evening. (Please visit http://weather.gov/ddc for more information.)
