Colder air will move into the region tonight causing overnight lows to fall into the single digits in most locations. The coldest temperatures will be over northeast Missouri where readings are expected to be below zero by early morning. While the wind will slowly decrease through the night, wind chill values are expected to fall below into the -10 to -15 range over much of northern Missouri and central Illinois.
