An approaching warm front will bring precipitation into our area late tonight and Sunday. With cold air in place the precipitation will likely begin as freezing rain over much of our area, with the most ice accumulation expected across northeast Missouri and west central Illinois. A freezing rain advisory has been issued for areas along and north of a Paris Missouri to Troy Missouri to Litchfield Illinois line through midday on Sunday. As the temperature warms above the freezing mark the precipitation should change over to all rain everywhere by late Sunday morning. Temperatures will remain well above normal through Tuesday with several additional rounds of rain...as well as some thunderstorms Monday night through Tuesday evening.
