The 1897 Ottawa College Football team. Ottawa College's Halfback Smith was kicked while on the ground by Ottawa City's wing back Walters, which lead to Walters being kicked out of the game and caused him to assault both the Referee and Umpire. The QRFU kicked both Walter and the City team out of the league.
