Legal action to evict protesters from Battersea Park Adventure Playground has been started by Wandsworth council.
Campaigners from Occupy London and Wandsworth Against Cuts moved onto the site 11 days ago to prevent the demolition of equipment and facilities.
The council is axing supervisory posts at the playground but says its changes include a £200,000 refurbishment to replace outdated equipment. Some parents say the new equipment will be less challenging and the park will be left with no staff trained in first aid.
