A cold upper level trough will remain across the region through Monday, with a few weak disturbances rotating down the backside, providing periods of light snow for mainly the mountains. Frigid temperatures will also remain over the region well into next week for all areas. High pressure will build in for Tuesday and remain in place the rest of the week, with dry weather and strong valley inversions holding strong once again. This will keep northern and central valleys frigid with slightly moderating temperatures at the higher elevations. (Please visit http://weather.gov/gjt for more information.)
