Warmer air will continue to spread across the region this week, pushing temperatures at least 10-20 degrees above what we typically experience in January in this part of the country. A low pressure system will bring showers and a chance of thunderstorms to Missouri and Illinois starting late tonight. The most likely period for rainfall will be late tonight through Thursday night. One to two inches of rain can be expected with this system...especially for areas along and south of I-44 in Missouri and I-70 in Illinois.
