High pressure in the upper air will continue to move across the high plains and Rockies today...before a trough moves into the Great Basin Sunday. Warm and dry conditions will continue for most areas through Sunday afternoon ... followed by snow showers in the western mountains Sunday afternoon. With plenty of sunshine today...high temperatures will be in the mid and upper 50s on the plains...the 30s and 40s in the mountains...while the snow covered areas of the high valleys can expect cooler readings in the teens and 20s. A low pressure system is forecast to move through Colorado Monday night and Tuesday...bringing a chance of snow to much of the state. Holiday travelers may have to deal with winter driving conditions. (Please visit http://weather.gov/pub for more information.)
