Infra-red satellite showing plenty of mid to high level clouds streaming across Colorado and Utah this morning which will continue through the day. The closed low over northern California will drop south and east today and will be located in northern Arizona Friday morning and will move across Colorado during the day. Several Winter Storm Warnings and Advisories have been issued due to this storm and can be seen at weather.gov/gjt. These highlights end Saturday morning but light snowfall is expected to continue as orographics and then more waves move over the region. Snow will remain in the forecast through Monday with a brief respite Tuesday before another disturbance brings more snow Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.
