Happy 5th anniversary to our STS-120 team! What incredible memories of the ‘Epic Spacewalk’. I took this photo of my friend and hero, Scott Parazynski as he finished installing the final ‘cufflink’ in the torn solar array.

I often reflect on the unbelievable daring of our EVA team, our Flight Controllers, and our Flight Director in Mission Control. Seems so surreal now, as the years have passed. I hope we don’t ever lose that audacity of the imagination. Happy Anniversary, Team!

"A Few Miles Above…" - Wordsworth

Five years have passed; five summers, with the length
Of five long winters…and again I hear
These waters, rolling from their mountain springs
With a soft inland murmur. Once again
Do I behold these steep and lofty cliffs,
That on a wild secluded scene impress
Thoughts of more deep seclusion; and connect
The landscape with the quiet of the sky...
