World Horse Welfare improves the lives of horses in the UK and around the world through education, campaigning and hands-on care.

Rescue pony Tonic trying out agility- http://bit.ly/orvMqA She's been available for rehoming for a few months now, but sadly been overlooked. Could you change that today by offering her a wonderful home?

She is an 11.3hh Exmoor-cross, and is looking for a new home as a companion pony. If you enjoy spending time working horses or ponies in hand, then you could have a perfect partner in 13 year old Tonic – she’s great fun to work with and very intelligent (pictured here trying her 'hoof' at some agility!).

She’s a pretty pony and travels well, so could do really well at in-hand showing. Tonic has made a brilliant companion to other horses, and loves to be groomed and to spend time with people!

Rehoming horses is a vital part of our work. We fear there could be 6,000 horses at risk in the UK this winter, and every horse rehomed helps another horse too because it makes room for new rescues to be taken in at our already capacity-stretched centres.
