The Release of Tagore Commemorative Volume PUNASCHA RABINDRAKRITI, on 07.08.12 The Release function and discussion on the Tagore Commemorative Volume, namely “PUNASCHA RABINDRAKRITI” (Bengali) edited by Prof. Sabyasachi Bhattacharya, Eminent Historian and co-edited by Bratin Dey, was organized in the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) Kolkata on 7th August 2012, as a tribute to the poetic genius Rabindranath Tagore, on his Death anniversary. In the welcome address Mr. M. A. Sikandar, Director, NBT welcomed all the dignitaries and luminaries. The Book Release Function turned into a Galaxy of Scholars as the contributors of this book are the best and finest Scholars of Bengal. The book was released by the noted scholar and Prof of English Shri Chinmoy Guha, Former Vice Chancellor, Rabindrabharati University. He appreciated NBT’s efforts for bringing out such an important Commemorative Volume on Tagore. In the Introductory speech Prof. Sabyasachi Bhattacharya gave a brief introduction on the book and on the authors. Discussions were done by Sourin Bhattacharya, Gopikanath Roychowdhury, Somendranath Bandyopadhyay, Anathbandhu Chatterjee, Supriyo Tagore, Sekhar Samaddar, Sutapa Bhattacharya & Sudeshna Chakraborty.
