According to the United States Geological Survey, a magnitude 7.7 earthquake has hit Masset, Canada.


There was earlier reports that a tsunami warning was issued for coastal regions from the north tip of Vancouver Island, British Columbia to Cape Decision, Alaska, but Pacific Tsunami Warning Center website, there are no current warnings, watches, or advisories in effect.
