Sadly, an anticlimax to the launch 9 months ago and the subsequent landing a month ago. Might as well trudge around a desert on Earth. I just wish life, as in bacteria upwards, could be photographed and make the journey worth it . . .

'Where are the things that made all those little indentations?'

They were eroded/weathered out, and blown away. Jake looks like peridotite with the olivine eroded away leaving resistant pyroxene.

I thought they were indentations also but at a closer look I think they are small rocks but I could be wrong.
