@charitywater Lillian, 25, from Uganda says her stomach hurts all the time & she gets diarrhea from the water she drinks. During dry season the water dries up & they have to walk “very far.”Collecting water then takes 2-3 hours

I agree with @nuthatchgirl about the dollar. However,we have the creativity, knowledge, skills and technology to make this a thing of the past. It's unfortunate that an "inanimate object" such as money stands in the way of caring for each other.

When I feel the urge to complain, I will retreat to Lillian, the 25 year old woman Ugandan that walks 2-3 hours to collect contaminated.... water....

Oh my goodness that does disappoint me....just think how many woman must pass out collecting water...walking 2-3 hours with no water to drink for themselves...they can have a serious heat stroke and possibly die.
