My @ivory #pureivorybarsoap from @influenster is the secret ingredient for my homemade laundry detergent - 1 bar of Ivory soap grated, 1 cup Washing Soda, 1/2 cup Borax and 4 cups Hot Water - cook until everything is melted, then add to a 5 gallon bucket (with lid) and fill with HOT water and stir. Let it sit overnight so it gels up, and then fill an old juice jug with 4 cups detergent and 4 cups water. Shake well before use, and you only need 1/2 cup per load. Wash for pennies a load, and it lasts forever!
