本郷・菊坂下道の脇にはかつて小川が流れていた。今は暗渠化され、急坂部のマンホールからは晴天の日も轟々と水の流れる音が響く。蓋にある「合流」の文字は、それが分流式の下水道でなく合流式のそれであることを示す。 #bunkyo
