This is Basel Shehadeh. He was killed on 28th May as he was on his way to Al-Houleh to shoot a film on the massacre that took place there. Basel belonged to the #Christian community in #Syria and was one of Syria's best film-makers. Basel was on his way to Al-Houleh to shoot a film about the #HoulaMassacre, which took place on the 25th May 2012, before he was killed in Bab Sibaa. In his final hours, Basel crossed Homs under fire to give condolences to his friend who had lost other friends. Basel Shehadeh held his friend's hand and said, "We won't forget them. We'll do something in their honour." Basel was killed an hour later.
