The 4th Annual Lemon Run Philadelphia 5K Run/Walk and Kids’ Dash presented by Volvo will be held on Sunday, November 11, 2012 at Memorial Hall in Fairmount Park. The 5K, which raises funds and awareness for childhood cancer, is a fun way to get families, businesses or simply individuals involved in ALSF’s quest to find better treatments and cures for all kids with cancer.

In addition to the crowds of runners and walkers participating in the 3.1 mile course, inspirational childhood cancer heroes and their families are on hand to provide motivation and support.

Liz and Jay Scott, the parents of Foundation creator Alexandra “Alex” Scott present awards to the top finishers in various age groups. Along with the winners of each age group, top fundraising teams are also honored. Teams who meet guidelines get their own team tent where they can gather before and after the 5K.
