- Item #6(B): Update on the operations of the Needles Municipal Hospital/ Colorado River Medical Center (Located at 1401 Bailey Ave, Needles).


Colorado River Medical Center Interim Chief Executive Officer Jon Freeberg presented the Board of Hospital Trustees Members a PowerPoint presentation for March 2012 showing the Cash Detail, Revenue Detail, Accounts Receivable Detail, Denial Breakdown, Admissions Detail, and Billing and Income Month Comparison at the Colorado River Medical Center.

On Native Air, an Omniflight company; their doing licensing and updates staffing; there has been 3 classes held this month involving 15 nurses and doctors, and the classes were free according to Colorado River Medical Center Interim Chief Executive Officer Jon Freeberg.

The helicopter program is still on the agenda and is currently going through the County of San Bernardino to get the licensing according to Colorado River Medical Center Interim Chief Executive Officer Jon Freeberg.

Colorado River Medical Center Interim Chief Executive Officer Jon Freeberg had a conversation with EmCare; a problem regarding the Emergency Room Doctors at Colorado River Medical Center have been On-Called or In The Emergency Room for too long; one doctor was there for 8 days in a roll and is unacceptable according to Colorado River Medical Center Interim Chief Executive Officer Jon Freeberg.

General Surgeon for Colorado River Medical Center Doctor Edward Paget gave thanks to the man and woman at Colorado River Medical Center for saving the life of a man who was shot last week.
