Christ Rio Wonder-Word's Wonder! "Cristo Redentor" statue is on the top of the Corcovado hill. It's open arms blesses the city and the people of the Rio de Janeiro. The statue is colored in light blue. It's in the hill since October 12, 1931 710 meters from the sea level. It's was a project and construction of brasilian engineer Heitor Silva Costa. PS:. Features: statue's height = 30 m ; total monument height = 38 m. Statue's weight = 1.145 ton ; total distance between the two hands ; 28 m. Rio's panoramic sight from Corrcovado is too marvellous!
