A Mohave County Sheriff's Office deputy and the mother of a suspect are disputing Bullhead City Police Department's account of what took place in the arrest of Robert Eugene Stout, 32, on Feb. 2. Bullhead City Police Department reported Stout was arrested for aggravated assault on a police officer, possession of dangerous drugs (meth), possession of dangerous drugs for sale and drug paraphernalia after he threw a safe at MAGNET detectives. Stout was teased and brought to Kingman for booking. Speaking on condition of anonymity, the deputy said he is disgusted at what he's seen unfold. He said it has not been reported that the suspect arrived to the county jail in Kingman for booking in a wheelchair and in unresponsive state. The deputy said jail medical staff refused to accept custody of Stout in his condition, and that Stout was twice taken to Kingman Regional Medical Center. The deputy said it was on Stout's return trip to the hospital that a CT scan showed multiple brain bleeds and a possible aneurysm. Stout was immediately flown to Sunrise Medical Center in Las Vegas. Stout has since returned to the county jail medical facility, and the deputy said he is improving and should recover. Stout's mother said police broke down her front door in the early hours of the morning before Stout's arrest, and tore up her house looking for him.
