Strong southerly winds will take our highs into the mid ‘50s today and tomorrow! Today’s record high in Peoria is 56 set in 1988 so we could get close. The mild air is ahead of a cold front that will bring a chance of showers tomorrow afternoon. Temperatures behind the front will remain above normal in the upper ‘40s Wednesday and Thursday. A “clipper” system could bring rain Friday and some snow showers Saturday morning, but the weekend, although colder, with be above normal with highs in the upper ‘30s.
